Dad: "We have to take Max to school this morning."
Emma: "Where am I going?"
Dad: "After we drop Max off, we're going to take you to see the doctor. You have a cold." (Emma's in the third week of a cold and it's getting worse.)
Emma: "Nooooo! I don't want to see the doctor! I'm happy!!"

- Max and Emma are brother and sister aged 9 and 7 respectively. They continually find new ways to stun Mom and Dad with their insights. This blog was started in January 2006 when they were each a few months shy of their 5th and 3rd birthdays.
