Max: "Dad, why did the ice crack?"
Dad: "It's been warm, Max. When it gets warmer the ice gets thinner and it cracks. It's going to be warmer today and the snow and ice are going to melt a lot."
Emma: "And then we can wear flip-flops!"

- Max and Emma are brother and sister aged 9 and 7 respectively. They continually find new ways to stun Mom and Dad with their insights. This blog was started in January 2006 when they were each a few months shy of their 5th and 3rd birthdays.
