Setting: (this is posted a week late) Mom returned from California after bedtime on Friday night. Because it was Dad's birthday on Friday, she bought Pop Tarts (family tradition) for Saturday's breakfast. Because Max probably would not eat Pop Tarts, she bought a box of Froot Loops too. Saturday morning Max and Mom walk into the kitchen.
Max: "Look! Dad bought Froot Loops!"
Mom: "No Max, Mom bought the Froot Loops."
Setting: Max pauses for a moment
Max: "Mom, did you bring those from California?"
