Setting: It's bedtime. Max, Emma, and Dad are reading stories. They call Mom at a hotel somewhere on the East Coast.
Mom: "How are you, Emma?"
Emma: "I am good. How are you , I should ask?"

- Max and Emma are brother and sister aged 9 and 7 respectively. They continually find new ways to stun Mom and Dad with their insights. This blog was started in January 2006 when they were each a few months shy of their 5th and 3rd birthdays.
